NHS Jobs in Leeds is seeking a passionate physiotherapist to join the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal paediatric team on a permanent basis at 19.25 hours per week (Band 7). You will lead the service, supervise colleagues, and manage an outpatient caseload with clinic involvement while supporting inpatient ward activity.

The role requires at least 3 years post-registration Paediatric physiotherapy experience, handling complex MSK cases and engaging with families facing difficult prognoses.

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration experience of at least 3 years within Paediatric physiotherapy.
• Broad experience treating children with complex musculoskeletal conditions undergoing intensive treatment.
• Emotional resilience and experience dealing with patients and families with poor prognosis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal paediatric team and supervise colleagues.
• Manage an outpatient caseload with clinic involvement and support the band 6 on the inpatient ward.
• Deliver advanced physiotherapy assessment, advice and interventions to 0–16 year olds.
• Contribute to paediatric respiratory weekend and out-of-hours service.
