Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a paediatric physiotherapist to join the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal team on a permanent basis, working 19.25 hours per week at Band 7. The post requires leading the team, managing an outpatient caseload, and supporting the band 6 on the orthopaedic inpatient ward.

You will join an established team of experienced physiotherapists across the children’s hospital, with opportunities for leadership and professional development.

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration paediatric physiotherapy experience (min 3 years).
• Broad experience treating children with complex musculoskeletal conditions.
• Good resilience and experience discussing prognosis with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal paediatric service.
• Manage an outpatient caseload with clinic involvement.
• Support the band 6 on the orthopaedic inpatient ward and supervise staff.
• Contribute to paediatric respiratory weekend and out-of-hours service.
