Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver services in mainstream schools across Cheshire on an outreach basis. You will manage a clinical caseload autonomously, provide assessments, and deliver evidence-based interventions for pupils with diverse needs.

The role requires HCPC registration, and experience in school settings; you will collaborate with teachers, support families, and contribute to service development while ensuring safeguarding and professional

Qualifications

• Experience working in mainstream school settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for young people with communication difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a clinical caseload across multiple schools.
• Undertake holistic assessments using clinical observation and specialist knowledge.
• Provide evidence-based interventions in line with professional guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, class teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to service development.
• Maintain compliance with HCPC regulations and participate in CPD activities.
• Promote safeguarding and risk awareness within the workplace.
