Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a Band 6/7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in Lancashire. This permanent role offers flexible, term-time hours with full or part-time options and an emphasis on autism and anxiety support.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver tailored OT interventions, complete assessments, and develop therapy plans while supporting staff with therapeutic strategies in daily routines.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions for children with autism and complex needs.
• Ability to lead and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to children with autism and complex needs.
• Complete functional assessments and develop individualised therapy plans.
• Provide therapeutic input across group and one-to-one sessions.
• Support staff with strategies to embed therapeutic approaches into routines.
• Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary model of care and education.
