Job summary

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our Children and Family Health Devon teams. Roles are embedded within the Experts at Hand programme, supporting children, families and schools across Devon.

You will join a friendly, supportive workforce with supervision, governance, and access to specialist training and development opportunities. Open to newly qualified or experienced practitioners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration are essential.
• Evidence of significant and relevant CPD is required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Desirable RCOT membership is noted.

Responsibilities

• Assess, advise and provide intervention for children and young people with functional, developmental and sensory processing needs.
• Manage a defined caseload under supervision of senior Occupational Therapists.
• Collaborate with children, families, educational settings and partner agencies to support participation and independence.
• Provide advice, support and training to parents, carers, schools and professionals.
• Contribute to the Experts at Hand model and to service development and evaluation.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and maintain accurate clinical records.
