Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) is seeking enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapists to join the Experts at Hand programme embedded within the Physical and Sensory Pathway across Devon. You will work with children and families, delivering intervention, advice and training, in collaboration with colleagues from OT, Physiotherapy and SLT.

You will manage a defined caseload under supervision, contribute to service development, and participate in supervision, training and CPD

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Evidence of CPD (continuing professional development).
• RCOT membership is preferred.
• HCPC registration required.

Responsabilités

• Assess, advise and provide intervention for children and young people with functional, developmental and sensory processing needs.
• Manage a defined caseload under supervision of senior Occupational Therapists.
• Work collaboratively with children, families, educational settings and partner agencies to support participation, independence and achievement of goals.
• Provide advice, support and training to parents, carers, schools and professionals.
• Contribute to delivery of the Experts at Hand model by supporting inclusive practice and capacity building within education settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in supervision, mandatory training and continuing professional development activities.
