Job summary

Devon Partnership Trust, in partnership with Children and Family Health Devon, is recruiting a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the 0-18 OT team in Exeter on a permanent 0.59 WTE basis. You will support children and young people with EHCPs across Devon in schools, homes, clinics and community settings.

The role focuses on assessment, goal-setting and intervention with opportunities to develop specialist paediatric skills within an integrated therapy team and supportive supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration are essential.
• Post-graduate specialist training in paediatrics is desirable.
• Experience with children and families in education and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of children and young people aged 4–18.
• Deliver assessment, goal-setting and intervention in schools, homes and clinics.
• Work with EHCPs and implement evidence-based, participation-focused therapies.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and professionals; develop specialist skills.
