Job summary

Haven House is seeking a Band 6 Education Facilitator to join the clinical team on a one-year fixed-term contract from September 2026. You will deliver education, training and practice development while continuing hands-on clinical care for children with complex needs.

You will work a mix of clinical shifts and protected education shifts, collaborating with Education and Governance Leads to embed learning from incidents, audits and service developments into practice, promoting high standards of

Qualifications

• Registered children’s nurse (or RN with significant paediatric experience)
• Ability to work autonomously with complex clinical needs
• Experience in education and governance to deliver safe, effective services

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, compassionate care to babies, children and young people with complex health needs, including non-invasive ventilation and parenteral nutrition.
• Provide safe tracheostomy, gastrostomy and jejunostomy care and complex medication administration; support end-of-life and bereavement care.
• Deliver teaching and training to staff, and perform clinical assessments in home or hospice settings.
• Participate in the on-call rota after probation and support ongoing education and governance activities.
