Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Practice Facilitator to provide maternity leave cover within the Practice Development Team. The role supports education, training and professional development of nursing, midwifery and AHP staff, promoting evidence-based practice in clinical settings and embedding learning in daily care.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development, implementation, monitoring and audit of nursing/midwifery policies and guidelines.
• Act as a resource to staff on national and local policies.
• Ensure quality standards, clinical risk management and audits are integral.
• Facilitate implementation of quality initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Establish effective communication with multi-professional colleagues across the Trust.
