Job summary

The post requires professional accountability for all aspects of work, autonomous planning of a highly complex caseload, and leadership in education, training and audit to drive service improvement within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Professional accountability for own work and complex cases.
• Autonomous planning and prioritisation of a high complexity caseload.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for therapeutic relationships.
• Ability to balance risk, safety and patient choice to promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage dietetics within the designated clinical area.
• Provide nutrition education resources and patient literature.
• Lead on audit, evidence based practice and clinical research where appropriate.
• Loster liaise with consultants, managers, and MDT to ensure service delivery.
