Job summary

Komplex Care is seeking a Paediatric Care Assistant to support a child with lifelong clinical needs in Wirral. The role involves part-time shifts, including 5pm–8pm and 8pm–8am, across weeks with 15–27 hours weekly, providing safe, in-home care with nurse-led clinical oversight.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living tasks, following detailed care plans and maintaining clear records. Training is provided and ongoing development is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently.
• Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping.
• A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care.

Role: Paediatric Care Assistant

Location: Wirral

Hours: Part time. Week 1: 27 hours (2 night shifts, 3 evening shifts), week 2: 15 hours (1 night shift, 1 evening shift)

Payrate: £13.50 per hour

Your Role as a Care Assistant

You’ll join a dedicated, nurse-led team providing hands-on care for individuals with lifelong and potentially life-critical clinical needs.

This isNOTstandard domiciliary care. You’ll follow detailed clinical care plans, monitor changes in the individual’s condition and perform the specialist interventions needed to keep them safe, stable and comfortable at home.Your responsibilities may include:
