Our client, who is a leader in their industry nationwide, is looking for a motivated individual to join them in a brand-new role. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of Assistant Team Leaders and Packing Technicians in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll play a key role in driving performance, fostering continuous improvement, and working collaboratively across departments to make a tangible impact on our packing operations.
As a Team Leader you will play a pivotal role in leading, developing, and supporting your team members. You’ll take ownership of driving performance across the – identifying opportunities to innovate and improve processes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing fulfillment software, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring KPIs are met, particularly around packing accuracy, labour efficiency, and waste reduction.
To ensure success, you will be adept at communicating with team members and key stakeholders.
We welcome applications from people with proven experience in a leadership or operational role, ideally within FMCG manufacturing. You will also be able to evidence experience of the following:
• Comfortable making decisions quickly and putting them into action.
• Great attention to detail with the ability to spot issues and resolve them effectively.
• Highly organised with the ability to priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Clear communication skills with both colleagues and customers.
• A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for taking initiative and collaborating effectively with the wider team.
• Great personable skills.
• Happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working.
• Familiar with ERP software, such as SAP is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft packages.
The successful candidate can expect to join a forward thinking and growing business, who will offer great opportunities for development and career progression. The working hours will be Monday to Friday 07:30 am till 16:15 pm (39 hour week) and might require you to work occasional weekends and bank holidays.
