Job Description:

Equans is looking for a Patient Services Cleaning Team Leader to join our team in Queen Alexandra Hospital, PO6 3LY on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,000 per annum and a benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

This role will be on a two-week rota working every other weekend with one day off during the week.

What will you deliver?

  • Responsibility and supervision of housekeepers and patient services assistants daily, ensuring full cover regarding duty rosters and work allocation to meet performance standards.
  • Supervision and control of service standards delivered to the Trust at ward/departmental level, including cleaning and patient food and beverage services.
  • Interface with ward/departmental managers and service teams regarding reactive maintenance requests, ensuring staff identify and report maintenance defects proactively.

  • Experience in performance management including appraisals
  • Experience in Hotel & Catering industry and/or Facilities Management (Desirable)
