About the role:

We are looking for an organized and committed Packing Team Lead to join our MedExpress/Levity Pharmacy Team at our brand new warehouse in Leamington Spa. Due to the success our weight loss service has had in 2024, we are launching additional shifts. This exciting role will play a pivotal part in the continued success of our weight loss brands into 2025 and beyond. As a Packing Team Lead, you will be managing a team of Packers on a production line, ensuring volume, speed and accuracy targets are met. The role involves ensuring the safe handling of GLP1 weight loss medication, ice packs (as this is a refrigerated drug) and sharps boxes.

You will be working closely with our dispensing team to ensure all GLP-1 weight loss orders are dispensed and dispatched on time. If you enjoy working cross-departmentally and are a self-starter with strong communication skills, this role would suit you perfectly.

The role will be 9am-9pm, with a rolling schedule of 4 days on 4 days off.

What you'll be doing in the role:

• Manage staff rota for dispatch and non-dispatch activities, arranging temporary cover for leave and seasonal peaks in activity.
• Conduct daily standup meetings to celebrate success and relay performance goals.
• Ensure all staff complete training and understand SOPs.
• Promptly resolve issues and escalate to the Responsible Pharmacist and Site Manager when necessary.
• Train, mentor and inspire both new and existing direct reports.
• Ensure the on-time dispatch of all packages while maintaining safety and cost control targets.
