Job summary

Jordan's Cereals is seeking a Packing Operative to join a friendly, ambitious team within ABF group. The role focuses on setting up and running end-of-line packing machinery, with a 4-on-4 night shift pattern (6pm–6am).

You would contribute to continuous improvement and safety while supporting a fast-paced production line. The successful candidate will be flexible across the week, embrace teamwork, and help maintain high hygiene standards.

• Team working skills and good relationships with peers and managers.
• Understands the importance of effective shift handovers.

We're looking for a Packing Operative to join our friendly and ambitious team. As part of the ABF group, we have big plans for the next five years, you'll play a key role in shaping our future. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking work with a team responsible for the set up and effective running of end of line packing machinery.

The Packing Operative working pattern would require full flexibility across the week as it is worked on a 4 on 4 of rotation. For example, one week you would work Monday to Thursday, then the following week would be Tuesday to Friday. This will be night shift only, working 6pm to 6am.

• Do the right thing together - Be aware of Safe Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Working, ensuring safety for self and others and maintain excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Make it happen - Assist with the handling and packing of product by operating specified machinery and maintain excellent standards of product and packaging quality.
