ALPLA INC. is seeking a Packing Operative for our Mansfield site. The role focuses on ensuring packed goods meet specifications, with attention to label accuracy and packaging quality.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with shifts in a 3-crew pattern and full training provided. Benefits include a company pension, life assurance from day one, and free parking on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating machinery or basic fault fixing is advantageous.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packed product meets required specification and report defects.
• Check packaging quality and remove non-conforming cartons.
• Verify labels match product, date and packer number.
• Ensure goods are wrapped properly and report faults promptly.
• Maintain high housekeeping and follow health and safety practices.
• Perform other duties aligned with the main job purpose.
