Job summary

ALPLA INC. in the United Kingdom operates a production and warehouse role requiring a valid FLT Counterbalance license and proven warehousing experience. You will ensure finished goods are wrapped to customer specs, stored in correct lanes, and checked against documentation before loading.

Qualifications

Experience in a busy warehouse environment with machinery handling.
Must have a valid FLT Counterbalance license and warehousing experience.
Personable with excellent communication skills.
Able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

To ensure that finished goods are wrapped to the customers' specification. To report any defects to Supervision.
To ensure that finished goods are stored in the correctly identified lanes.
To ensure that finished goods are checked and loaded to the correct specified documentation.
To ensure that all incoming consignments are checked against documentation and discrepancies reported.
To carry out daily maintenance of fork lift trucks and the compactor.
To maintain housekeeping to the highest standard at all times.
To carry out a twice weekly packaging stock take.
To carry out the monthly finished goods stock take with optimum accuracy.
To perform duties in accordance with health and safety practices.

To ensure that finished goods are transported from Production Department and stored in the Warehouse to the customers specification.

To ensure that all finished goods entering the Warehouse are wrapped to the customers' specification. To report any defects to Supervision.
To ensure that -finished goods are stored in the correctly identified lanes.
To ensure that finished goods are checked and loaded to the correct specified documentation.
To ensure that all incoming consignments are checked against documentation. To report any discrepancies to Supervision.
To ensure that daily maintenance of fork lift trucks and the compactor is carried out.
To ensure that housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
To ensure that an accurate, twice weekly, packaging stock take is carried out.
To ensure that the monthly finished goods stock take is carried out to optimum accuracy.
To ensure that all duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety practice.

What makes you great

Experience within busy warehouse environment and experience of operating the required machinery
Must have valid FLT Counterbalance license + Experience within warehousing environment
Personable and excellent communication skills
Able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines within a busy manufacturing environment
