Global Highland Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer/Technician to support packhouse operations in a fast-paced food production environment.

The role can be full-time or part-time (minimum 20 hours) with duties spanning routine maintenance, repairs, inspections and servicing of factory machinery and site facilities. You will work closely with production and quality teams to minimise downtime, uphold food safety standards and maintain high workplace safety.

Formación

• Practical knowledge of mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, bearings, belts and production machinery.
• Basic electrical knowledge; electrical work performed by qualified personnel.
• Ability to identify faults, troubleshoot problems and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance of factory machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns across production and packing lines.
• Maintain conveyors, grading machines, packing machines, labeling equipment and other packhouse machinery.
• Follow planned maintenance schedules and keep accurate records of inspections and repairs.
• Ensure maintenance areas comply with health, safety and food safety procedures.
