Job summary

pladis Global in the United Kingdom is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee the upkeep, testing and repair of site equipment across our factory operations.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, applying hands-on skills to load lock systems, conveyor components and building services. The role requires a safety-first mindset, teamwork, and a flexible, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• You understand safety at work procedures and practice.

• A flexible approach to work and the ability to cope with a fast-paced working environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test and repair site equipment and systems.
• Carry out inspections of load lock systems, dock levellers, bay doors and AHU filters.
• Perform weekly sprinkler pump tests and emergency lighting tests.
• Carry out emergency door inspections and utility meter readings.
• Use data from multiple sources to diagnose issues and take corrective actions.
