Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a fast‑paced meat slicing and packaging facility in Glasgow. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, carry out planned preventative maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to keep machinery running efficiently.

The role requires fault‑finding across electrical and mechanical systems, strong independent work, and a collaborative approach within a close‑knit engineering team.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance across industrial production and packaging machinery.
• Planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment; work independently in a fast-paced factory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults to restore production.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives on packaging equipment.
