Job summary

CooperVision is seeking a Packaging Operator L3 (Trainer) to join the Packaging Department at MountPark, UK. The role blends training responsibilities with hands-on operator duties on the packaging line, including reading SOPs, selecting and packing contact lenses, and ensuring safety and quality standards on a busy shift.

You will train and mentor operators, monitor compliance, and work to meet production targets while handling data and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• PC literate and able to read, understand and follow SOPs.
• Experience with packaging equipment including Marchesini 5/6, Strip 7 and Vitality machines.
• Strong communication, teamwork and punctuality.
• Ability to train others and operate with safety and quality in mind.
• Good manual handling and ability to lift heavy boxes as part of duties.
• Prioritisation skills and attention to production targets.

Responsibilities

• Train and operate the packaging area for 2+ processes.
• Monitor compliance and work with Training Coordinator.
• Pick and pack contact lenses and ship customer orders.
• Meet production performance targets and quality standards.
• Operate machinery safely and record data.
• Train Operators in daily tasks.
