Job summary

CooperVision Limited, a leader in soft contact lens manufacturing, is hiring a Packaging Production Technician. This role involves operating machinery, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Ideally, 2 years' experience in Packaging Department.
• Experience in the use of hand tools.
• Able to demonstrate technical aptitude.
• Good fault finding/problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn new and more complex processes in other areas.
• Operate machinery safely in accordance with procedures.
• Perform first level maintenance tasks and fault fixing.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance and cleaning routines.
• Undertake pack sizes changes on machines.
• Record production data in accordance with procedures.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Bring knowledge in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Investigate and respond to issues in relation to the area.
• Assist in training with existing and new packaging machines.
