Commonwealth Of Virginia is seeking a procurement professional to manage the PCard program and ensure compliance with state and university procurement policies. The role emphasizes training, monthly audits of cardholder transactions, and independent reviews for accountability and compliance.

You will analyze procurement programs to identify opportunities for outreach and education related to supplier diversity (SWAM), as well as contract development and compliance monitoring strategies.

Formación

• Thorough knowledge of State procurement laws, rules and regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of software programs and systems.
• Considerable knowledge of business practices concerning procurement.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to draft technical documents, specifications, contracts, reports, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate detailed specifications and analyze complex situations.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively and efficiently with little direct supervision and in a multi-task environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage PCard program and ensure compliance with Commonwealth and University procurement policies.
• Perform independent reviews for accountability and compliance of pcard transactions and provide on-going training, reporting, technical assistance.
• Provide analysis of procurement programs to identify opportunities for outreach and education related to supplier diversity (SWAM) as well as contract development and compliance monitoring strategies.
