Job summary

BPAS, the UK’s leading women's reproductive healthcare charity, is seeking a Procurement and Contract Compliance Manager to lead procurement and contract governance. You will drive policy, oversee the contract lifecycle, and advise budget holders to ensure responsible use of funds while obtaining high-quality goods and services.

The role is hybrid with travel to Redditch. You will work with senior stakeholders, develop compliant processes, and promote ethical procurement across BPAS.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement experience in the charity, public or healthcare sector.
• Experience of contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Experience leading competitive tender exercises.
• Experience developing procurement policies and procedures.
• Experience ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve BPAS's procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with legislation, financial regulations and NHS requirements.
• Maintain the central contract register and oversee contract performance, renewals, supplier obligations and governance requirements.
• Conduct procurement and contract compliance audits, monitor procurement risks, support audits, and advise budget holders and project managers.
• Build positive supplier relationships, monitor performance against service levels, support negotiations and resolve contractual issues.
• Promote ethical, sustainable and diverse procurement practices across BPAS.
