Job summary

Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets in the UK is seeking an Underwriter for Property and Casualty to join the Leeds or Birmingham team. You will underwrite new and renewal business, manage risk within delegated authority, and work closely with intermediaries and clients to maintain a high-quality portfolio.

You will continuously develop underwriting knowledge, align with trading strategy, and contribute to profitable growth while upholding conduct and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Underwrite new and renewal business for allocated intermediaries and customers.
• Make timely underwriting decisions within delegated authority, referring complex risks as appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with senior underwriters and UK stakeholders to ensure consistent processes.
