Job summary

Potens Group is seeking a Waking Support Worker for Queens Court (Arbennig Unit), Old Colwyn. The role offers 42 hours per week at £13.00 per hour, with a contributory pension and development opportunities including NVQ levels 2–5 in Health & Social Care.

Sponsorship is not available for this role; shifts are overnight on Friday to Monday, within a welcoming residential setting that supports individuals to live independently.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care, or working towards.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a busy residential setting.
• Commitment to learning and development to achieve qualifications (level 2 to level 5 NVQ).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 support to adults with diverse needs.
• Promote positive well-being and independence.
• Maintain required level of support for service needs.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Engage with residents and support activities and interests.
• Develop community links and enable access to leisure and life skills.
• Work within a large Victorian residential home with extensive gardens.
