Job summary

PHL Group is seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to oversee a night shift team delivering Integrated Urgent Care services in Sunderland. The role focuses on people leadership, KPI achievement, and safe patient care during overnight hours.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-disciplinary staff, arranging home visits and staff rotas, and ensuring mandatory training completion. Strong communication and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, or substantial supervisory experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-disciplinary team to meet KPI targets.
• Drive GP to patients' homes for visits.
• Collaborate with management teams to ensure safe, responsive service.
• Coordinate recruitment and rota cover.
• Ensure mandatory training is completed.
• Supervise and coach staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Provide escalation point for calls/cases.
• Assist with implementing policies and processes.
