Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a caring night-shift helper to support a young girl with learning disabilities and epilepsy in her Winchester family home. The role runs 8pm–8am, two nights per week (24 hours) with flexibility to cover day shifts, and may involve moving and handling support as part of a stable care team.

You will benefit from comprehensive training, shadow shifts, a dedicated Care Manager, and access to development resources.

Qualifications

• This role supports a child with learning disabilities and epilepsy.
• Overnight care responsibilities with moving and handling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide waking night support from 8pm to 8am in the family home.
• Work 2 nights per week (24 hours) with flexibility to cover day shifts.
• Be part of a consistent care team with rotas planned in advance.
• Receive full specialist training and ongoing support from the Care Manager.
