Job summary

Sainsbury's Group is seeking an overnight shift manager to lead a store team through the night, coordinating replenishment, warehouse duties and ensuring shelves are stocked for the morning rush.

You’ll be responsible for setting standards, safeguarding colleagues, coaching performance, handling disciplinaries, and maintaining KPI delivery while managing operations in the absence of senior managers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team overnight in fast-paced retail environments.
• Strong people management and disciplinaries handling.
• Proven ability to coach teams to deliver high service levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a store overnight to deliver replenishment, prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Run the full store operation during night shifts, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Maintain high standards for the morning shift so customers can shop seamlessly.
• Manage performance, conduct disciplinaries, and oversee scheduling and pay.
