Job summary

The Cura Kensington, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, is seeking a dedicated Night Supervisor to oversee overnight Front Office operations in West London. You will supervise a small overnight team, manage late arrivals and guest requests, and ensure accurate night audit procedures are completed to Marriott standards.

This full-time role emphasizes security, presentation, and high standards of guest service while collaborating with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Engineering to maintain

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel Front Office role, preferably at supervisory level.
• Experience working night shifts within a hotel environment.
• Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel financial processes.
• Experience using Opera PMS or similar hotel management system.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently overnight.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Front Office operations throughout the night, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for all guests.
• Manage late arrivals, early departures, guest requests, and overnight enquiries efficiently.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
• Ensure VIP arrivals, special requests, and early morning departures are prepared in advance.
• Conduct regular checks of the lobby, reception, public areas, and other designated areas to maintain cleanliness and hotel standards.
• Support the Food & Beverage team with guest service and operational requirements when needed.
• Ensure all guest information and outstanding matters are accurately recorded and communicated to the morning team.
• Maintain a smooth and effective handover between night and day shifts.
• Complete night audit procedures accurately and in line with hotel policies and Marriott standards.
• Review daily transactions, room charges, payments, and F&B postings to ensure accuracy.
• Check guest accounts and identify discrepancies, and take corrective action as authorised.
• Review no-shows, late cancellations, and outstanding balances.
• Assist with daily revenue and occupancy reports.
• Ensure financial documentation and audit records are kept accurately.
