CrossReach is hiring a Night Shift Care Worker to provide personal care and overnight support, ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and respected through the night. You’ll help maintain continuity of care as shifts change, and keep precise records for handovers.

Calm, dependable applicants with good communication and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. PVG/SSSC registration is required, with support to achieve SVQ3 if needed.

Competenze

• Care experience is welcome but not essential.
• Good communication and the ability to respond thoughtfully.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Must meet PVG and SSSC registration requirements.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care and practical assistance during the night, respecting individual routines and preferences.
• Respond promptly and sensitively when someone needs support or reassurance.
• Support people with mobility, comfort and other overnight care needs.
• Carry out appropriate checks in line with individual care plans.
• Recognise and report changes in health, behaviour or wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records and share important information during shift handovers.
