Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, is seeking a compassionate support worker to provide overnight assistance for a child with a complex neuromuscular condition in the family home.

You will be 1:1, help with mobility, personal care, and communication, using Makaton and visual prompts. Prior complex care experience is advantageous; DBS checks and training provided.

Qualifications

• Overnight care experience is not required, but comfort with night shifting is essential.
• Experience with complex care is advantageous.
• Ability to engage child using Makaton and visual prompts.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated 1:1 care.
• Supporting with mobility, communication and personal care.
• Delivering clinical care in a variety of complex needs.
