Advantage Healthcare seeks a Children’s Complex Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will receive full training and clinical support to care for a child with a neurological condition, with PEG feeding and regular medication.

The role involves night and day shifts, building a rapport with a non-verbal child and supporting family life at home. The position offers training, DBS checks, and opportunities within City & County Healthcare Group.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children will be beneficial.
• Ability to work night and days.
• Social and outgoing person.
• Can build a rapport with a young person who is non verbal but communicates using finger and eye movements.

Responsibilities

• Support child with PEG feeding and regular medication administration.
• Provide care to prevent self-harm and ensure a safe environment.
• Engage in activities at home, in the garden, and with family.
• Build trust and rapport with the young person and family.
