Advantage Healthcare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, is seeking a Children’s Complex Care Assistant to join their team in the UK. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop skills in complex caregiving for a child with neurological development delays and self-harming behaviours.

The role involves day and night shifts, PEG feeding, medication support, and building rapport with a non-verbal young person. An equal opportunities employer.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children will be beneficial.
• Ability to work night and days.
• Social and outgoing person.
• Can build a rapport with a young person who is non verbal but communicates using finger and eye movements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a child with neurological conditions requiring complex support.
• Administer PEG feed and regular medications under supervision.
• Support the family at home and ensure safety during activities.
