Job summary

WH Scott Group in Bristol is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to service and commission overhead gantry cranes and lifting equipment. You will attend breakdowns, perform servicing and testing, and support installation projects across the South East.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise, a driving license, and a willingness to travel about 25% of the time. The company offers a competitive salary and opportunities in a dynamic, industrial setting.

Qualifications

Experience with preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on industrial equipment.
Electrical engineering knowledge including three-phase control systems.
Mechanical experience with motors, brakes and gearboxes.
Familiarity with PLCs and inverter control systems (desirable).
Valid driving license and willingness to travel (25% travel).

Responsibilities

Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and lifting equipment.
Support installation of lifting equipment for customers across the South East.
Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure high quality maintenance and service.
