Job summary

A leading engineering firm is looking for a Fluid Systems Design Engineer for a 6-month contract. You will be responsible for designing cryogenic systems and developing system architecture. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cryogenics, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and experience in piping design. This fully remote role offers the chance to work on impactful projects with top engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cryogenics and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with P&ID development.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in piping design and analysis.

Location: Fully Remote!

What You'll Do

• Design cryogenic and pressurised fluid handling systems
• Develop P&IDs and define system architecture
• Carry out fluid flow and pressure drop analyses, and thermal modelling
• Specify system components
• Define instrumentation and control requirements for cryogenic operations

Youll Need

• A strong knowledge of cryogenics and thermodynamics
• Familiarity with P&ID development
• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in piping design and analysis

Nice to Have

• Experience in aerospace and/or launch vehicle operations
