Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a passionate Outreach Worker for the Aylesbury Campus to deliver targeted, student-centred support and wellbeing initiatives for learners facing barriers to engagement.

You will identify at-risk learners, build relationships with families and external partners, and coordinate with curriculum and support services to create effective support plans that foster participation and progression.

• Build positive relationships with learners, parents/carers and external partners to support engagement and success.

• Work collaboratively with curriculum teams, support services and external agencies to coordinate effective support plans.
• Help learners develop confidence, resilience, independence and readiness for adulthood.
• Support progression into further learning, apprenticeships, employment, volunteering or other positive destinations.

As part of our commitment to Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, we are seeking a passionate and proactive Outreach Worker to join our Student Services team at our Aylesbury Campus on a full-time basis.

This role is key to enhancing wellbeing, outreach and inclusive support for learners who may face barriers to engagement, attendance, achievement and progression. You will work closely with students who are disadvantaged, vulnerable or at risk of disengagement, providing targeted, student-centred support that builds confidence, promotes participation and helps learners achieve positive outcomes.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual with experience of supporting young people, families or vulnerable groups, who is committed to helping students overcome challenges, thrive in their education and progress successfully into their next steps.
