Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group seeks a Curriculum Manager for English at the Aylesbury Campus. You will lead the English curriculum, manage a team of teachers and coaches, and drive high teaching standards to help learners achieve ambitious goals.

As a Curriculum Manager – English, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of English teachers and coaches to deliver exceptional outcomes for learners.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and assessment across the English curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies that support achievement, progression and success.
• Lead quality assurance activities, self-assessment processes and quality improvement planning.
• Work collaboratively with teaching teams and senior leaders to shape and develop an innovative English curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged and motivated.
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources effectively to maximise impact and value.
• Build strong relationships with employers, stakeholders and partners to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and responsive.
• Champion student voice and use feedback to enhance the learner experience.
• Support and develop colleagues through coaching, mentoring, performance management and professional development.
