Job summary

Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a passionate SENCO to join our Support for Learning team and help shape the futures of young people. You will lead and coordinate support for learners with SEND and EHCPs, working closely with curriculum teams and families to ensure high-quality adaptations.

Qualifications

  • We are seeking an organised, resilient SEND professional who is learner-centred and capable of building strong relationships across teams.
  • Experience coordinating support for learners with SEND and EHCPs is desirable.
  • Ability to promote inclusive practice and support colleagues to adapt learning for diverse needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate support for learners with SEND and EHCPs.
  • Work closely with curriculum teams to align support with learning aims.
  • Support staff to implement high-quality adaptations and reasonable adjustments.
  • Collaborate with families, local authorities and external agencies to support learners.
  • Monitor learner progress, attendance, achievement and destinations.
  • Champion a culture where inclusion is everyone's responsibility.
