Job summary

Spire Healthcare Group is recruiting for a full-time Outpatients Team Lead based at the Patient Support Centre in Seaham. You will lead a team of administrators, ensure delivery of high-quality patient administration, and drive performance across shift patterns from 8am to 6pm with a half day on Saturdays.

The role is 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will manage attendance, coaching, and development, and report on KPI data to senior management while maintaining excellent patient

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a team setting.
• Strong IT and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-skilled admin team to drive operational performance.
• Manage sickness, annual leave and underperformance per HR policies.
• Hold monthly 1-2-1s and feedback sessions with team members.
• Ensure KPI-driven patient administration and high service standards.
• Plan workforce to match activity and manage bookings, pre-op, and admissions.
• Identify process issues and drive improvements, reporting data as required.
