Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking a motivated Health Care Support Worker to join the busy Outpatients Department on a fixed-term/secondment basis until 19 February 2028. The role offers an opportunity to develop skills in a varied clinical setting.

You will work under supervision within the multidisciplinary team, deliver personal and clinical care, ensure safety and hygiene, contribute to teaching, and align with HEIW All Wales guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care within the outpatient setting under supervision by a registered professional.
• Takes part in personal and clinical care with minimal supervision as delegated.
• Keeps the registered clinician updated on patient condition and progress.
• Maintains a safe, hygienic environment following infection control policies.
• Contributes to teaching and supervision of students and junior staff.
• Follows the organisation's values and code of conduct for healthcare support workers.
