Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in Bangor is seeking a part-time Health Care Assistant (Band 3) for the Children's ward on a fixed-term contract up to 31/12/2027. The post is 30 hours per week, with shift work across the service.

You will deliver care with supervision from a registered professional, support infection prevention, and contribute to teaching of students and junior staff. Welsh language ability is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Deliver care to children and young people with supervision by a registered healthcare professional
• Undertake personal and clinical care activities with minimal supervision as delegated
• Update the registered healthcare professional on the patient’s condition and progress
• Promote a healthy, safe and secure environment for children and families
• Ensure a safe and hygienic working environment following infection prevention and control policies
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of students and junior staff
• Deliver the role in line with the Health Board Values and the Code of Conduct for HCSW in Wales
