Qualifications

• Healthcare assistant course with OTC sales experience.
• Experience dispensing hospital prescriptions.
• UK pharmacy dispensing accreditation held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare labels using Wellsky and assemble outpatient, private and chemotherapy prescriptions.
• Dispense and prepare TTO medicines for discharge.
• Stock management including ordering, receiving and robot replenishment.
• Remove expired, unwanted and overstocked drugs per SOP/COSHH.
• Handle returned meds and recycling per SOP.
• Assist with OTC sales and stock procurement to support retail.
• Minimise waiting times while maintaining professional standards.
• Follow SOPs and Health & Safety policies to ensure quality.
• Maintain good communications with patients and Trust staff.
