Job summary

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser to join a rotational team primarily based at Sunderland Royal Hospital, with duties across STSFT sites and the CHoICE Ltd partnership.

You will require NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent, undertake an accredited checking course after 6 months, and dispense for adults and paediatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services or equivalent required.
• Must undertake accredited checking course after 6 months in post.
• Experience in dispensing prescriptions and dealing with the public.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients.
• Aid in supply of medicines to wards and departments.
• Support development of pharmacy services and medicine management.
