Job summary

AMSURG is seeking an experienced registered nurse for our Digestive Health Center of Bedford outpatient setting in the United Kingdom. The RN will provide post-anesthesia recovery care, monitor patient status, administer medications, and educate patients on discharge and follow-up care.

Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow, maintain documentation and regulatory compliance, and uphold a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience (GI, PACU, OR, or acute care preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive post-anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status
• Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately
• Deliver patient education, including discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards
• Support a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
