Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Band 5 Staff Nurse on a 12-month secondment (37.5 hours per week) at the Main Outpatient Department, Heatherwood Hospital. You will join a friendly team delivering outpatient services seven days a week supporting adult and paediatric patients.

The department comprises five zones with diverse clinics; the post welcomes newly qualified nurses and offers professional development and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead OPD services with visible clinical leadership and forward planning.
• Coordinate OPD areas and provide support to the Senior OPD team.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in line with FHFT strategy and values.
• Foster a culture of respect, belonging and equality within the OPD.
• Maintain high standards of care and patient experience.
