Job summary

Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford, part of Phoenix Hospital Group, is seeking an Outpatient and Ward Registered Nurse for a part-time, permanent role (15 hours per week). You will provide high-quality care across outpatient and ward settings under the Ward Manager.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and at least 2 years' clinical experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills. DBS checks and UK eligibility may be required.

Outpatient and Ward Registered Nurse

Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford |15 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient and Ward Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient and Ward Team in Phoenix Hospital Chelmsford, part of Phoenix Hospital Group. This part-time, permanent position is essential for providing high-quality patient care in both outpatient and ward settings. Reporting to the Ward Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction while adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in outpatient and ward settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the management of ward operations, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC pin.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in outpatient and ward settings.
• Strong understanding of nursing principles, practices, and patient care standards.
