Job summary

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is recruiting a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join its Nursing team at Priory Hospital Chelmsford. This permanent, full-time role offers £36,176 - £38,596 per year, working 37.5 hours weekly.

You will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, maintain professional standards, and support service users and carers in line with NMC guidelines. Access to training and development opportunities is provided.

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Mental Health Nurse to join the team.

Priory Hospital Chelmsford, Chelmsford, Essex is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment centre providing inpatient and outpatient services for adults and young people, including autism and ADHD assessments. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes nearby and Chelmsford railway station approximately 2–3 miles from the hospital. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential for the role

• Qualified Mental Health Nurse with active NMC registration.
• Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working within a mental health care environment and completion of preceptorship programme.
• Good understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements and professional standards.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a commitment to change, improvement and delivering high-quality care.
• Ability to work flexibly and use innovative approaches to care.
