GO Outdoors is seeking an experienced retail leader to manage a busy department, coaching and developing a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer service.

You will drive store performance, oversee day-to-day operations, and lead by example to ensure safety, compliance, and strong financial results while fostering a positive, engaging environment for colleagues and customers in our Gloucester store.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing colleagues in a retail or customer-focused environment.
• Ability to prioritise and delegate workload to achieve team goals.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.
• Develop store teams through internal development programmes and career pathways.
• Maintain a safe and compliant store environment for colleagues and customers.
• Contribute to delivering financial results in line with targets.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding and training new employees.
• Provide feedback and coaching to colleagues to improve performance.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
