Gi Group is hiring Meter Readers in the United Kingdom with no prior experience required. The role involves collecting meter data for gas, electricity, and water at various properties and maintaining accurate reads on a handheld device.

Training is provided; travel daily between sites is expected, with a 40–45 hour week and potential Saturday work. A company car and progression opportunities are included in the package.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Full training will be provided.
• Physically fit and able to walk 4–5 miles daily and lift/crouch in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from water, gas and electricity meters at domestic, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Conduct Charge Point Surveys.
• Work independently in an outdoor role.
• Provide excellent customer service at each location.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
